AI share of voice (SOV) measures what fraction of brand mentions in AI answers belong to you versus tracked competitors — on the same buyer prompts.

SOV(entity) = mentions(entity) / sum(mentions(all tracked entities))

Range: 0.0 – 1.0

Target brand + competitors discovered for that scan (dynamic — not a static industry list).

Category leadership in AI discovery is relative. A 30% mention rate means little if a rival hits 80% on identical questions.
