Short answer

LinkedIn Marketing for Marketers is a free, practical 20-lesson track for B2B marketers, founders and sales teams who want LinkedIn to produce pipeline, not just likes. You will learn how the 2026 feed ranks posts, build a founder-led personal brand, choose formats, write hooks, comment strategically, launch a newsletter, run a company Page and an employee advocacy programme, and do social selling and Sales Navigator without breaking LinkedIn's rules. Then you will run LinkedIn Ads properly: objectives and formats, targeting and ABM, Thought Leader Ads, Lead Gen Forms, budgets and bidding, and the Insight Tag and Conversions API through Google Tag Manager. The track closes with GA4 and Looker Studio measurement, how LinkedIn content gets cited by AI assistants, and a monthly routine.

Key takeaways
  • 20 lessons in four parts: organic foundations, Pages and sales, LinkedIn Ads, then measurement, AI search and routine.
  • Reflects November 2026: LLM-based feed ranking (March 2026), the Campaign, Ad set and Ad hierarchy rename (October 2025), predictive audiences and Conversions API via GTM. LinkedIn Help still documents Accelerate.
  • No automation that breaks LinkedIn's User Agreement; every outreach tactic is manual or uses LinkedIn's own tools.
  • Every lesson includes a Ledgerline worked example, an exercise, a quiz and a checklist.

Checked 5 November 2026 (CET) against the LinkedIn Pressroom, LinkedIn Help, LinkedIn Marketing Solutions Help, LinkedIn Sales Navigator Help, the LinkedIn User Agreement and Professional Community Policies, and the third-party studies cited in each lesson. LinkedIn changes features and limits often, so confirm details in your own account. Claims about the algorithm from practitioners are labelled as such. "Our view" marks MentionX opinion. Ledgerline is a fictional company used for illustration.

03How is the track organised?

Organic foundations (lessons 1-7). How the feed ranks posts, the founder profile and positioning, formats, hooks and post writing, commenting, newsletters and articles, and video, Live and Events.

Pages and sales (lessons 8-11). The company Page and Premium Company Page, employee advocacy now that the My Company tab has gone, social selling and compliant outreach, and Sales Navigator.

LinkedIn Ads (lessons 12-17). Objectives, formats and the new campaign hierarchy, targeting and ABM, Thought Leader Ads, Lead Gen Forms, budgets and bidding, and the Insight Tag and Conversions API through Google Tag Manager.

Measurement, AI search and routine (lessons 18-20). UTMs, GA4 and Looker Studio, how LinkedIn content gets cited in AI answers, and a weekly and monthly routine.

04Who is this track for?

B2B and SaaS marketers, demand gen and ABM leads, founders who are the face of their company, content and social managers, SDR and sales leaders, and agency teams running LinkedIn for clients. Some of you post daily and want pipeline from it. Others have a Campaign Manager account that spends money nobody can explain. Both groups will find the gaps.

Each lesson has a Ledgerline worked example. Ledgerline is a fictional accounts-payable software company that competes with four rivals, called Competitor A to Competitor D. All Ledgerline numbers are illustrative, not benchmarks.

05What do you need?

  • A LinkedIn profile you control, and admin access to your company's LinkedIn Page.
  • For lessons 12 to 17, a Campaign Manager ad account (you can create one free and follow along before spending).
  • For lesson 17, access to Google Tag Manager on your website, and someone who can approve consent settings.
  • For lesson 18, a GA4 property and optionally Looker Studio.
  • Optional: Sales Navigator for lesson 11 and Premium Company Page for lesson 8. Neither is required.

Our view: most B2B LinkedIn programmes underperform for three reasons: the company posts but its people do not, ads are judged on cost per lead instead of qualified pipeline, and nobody tracks LinkedIn's influence beyond the last click. This track fixes all three.
