Common questions

From the guides in this topic

Is this LinkedIn marketing course free?

Yes. Every lesson is free to read, with no sign-up. From: LinkedIn Marketing for Marketers: Free Course (2026)

Does LinkedIn still use a simple engagement-based algorithm?

No. LinkedIn's engineering team said in March 2026 that it replaced several separate retrieval systems with one LLM-based retrieval system and moved ranking to a generative recommender model that reads a member's sequence of past interactions. Engagement still matters, but as part of a learned model, not a fixed formula. From: How the LinkedIn Feed Ranks Posts in 2026 (Explained)

Does creator mode still exist on LinkedIn?

No. LinkedIn removed the creator mode toggle in March 2024. The tools it unlocked, such as creator analytics and newsletters, are available to members by default, and you can choose Follow or Connect as the primary button on your profile.
